The stories in this table I found in 'Uit Friesland's volksleven' (= From Frysian folklife) which came to light in the year 1895. Written by Walling Dykstra it was a collection of folkstories about the most miscellaneous things. Among other stories about more recent happenings Dykstra heard in the second half of the 19th century a story about Boniface, a miracle and some leads to the killers of Boniface.
