These photos are collected by Jan de Boer for his presentation for the Simmer 2000 event. When you click on a picture you get in a new window the picture in large format (this can take a while because then between 0.4 and 1.4 Mb in size).

First photo A07 Left front of the Bridge house. This (old) picture are a few trees left of the canal and the houses still have round chimney signs.
 


Before 1912. On the left lives family B. van der Kooi (No. 21). The public school and school house were still not built and the Binnendijk was not designed for fast traffic.




Third photo
A43 Until 1907 there was a drawbridge on the Buorsterfeart. Before this bridge, a 'heechhout'  would be used.
Fourth photo
A77 Beautiful photo of the school house (l) with a wooden fence, the church and the parsonage. Is it a coincidence that the are extra's standing here ?



A86 On the left the bakery shop, on the bridge a fast car.

Yme Hoogeveen and Attje Hoogeveen - Graansma are watching the parade of floats during the liberation party.
